Happy New Year, lovelies!
I have been MIA since Christmas, for various reasons, but to make it all up to you I have a spectacular giveaway for you! I teamed up with Ms. Sparkle and together we created 5 exclusive polishes for this occasion! It was so much fun! And much more difficult that you might imagine, with so many choices of glitter and bases... But we did it, two toppers (mini size) and three jellies (full-size), in a variety of colours and styles, and I named them after things and spells and persons from the Harry Potter Universe. So without further ado, I present Lothwen's Limited Lacquer Line!

So now to the swatches:
Let's start with Orchideous! This purple jelly glitter bomb is full of red, teal, blue and sapphire shreds, hexes, shreds, diamonds and flowers and is fully opaque in three thin coats (that dry immensely fast). This is, as for all swatches, with one coat of NPB Glitter Food and one coat of Seche Vite. I named it after the spell that produces a bouquet of orchids!
Next up is The Yule Ball, a glitter topper with aqua shreds, violet holo circles, teal squares and sapphire hexes. This is one coat over a grey shimmery OPI of which I do not know the name.
And here is Amortentia, named after the most powerful love potion (which does not look like this, but this polish resembles the effect of the potion, rather than the potion itself). Amortentia is a tomato red jelly with gold, red, pink and purple hexes, circles, hearts and stars, which is usually all I see when I'm hopelessly in love... This is three coats.
Ahhh then onto one of my favourite characters, Luna Lovegood! I decided to pour her loving nature into a bottle... so we're left with chartreuse, melon green and pink hexes, flakies, moons and dots, which is a seemingly odd combination but sparkles like a thousand moons! I swatched it over Catrice "Hugo Moss":
And to sum it all up, we have Mischief Managed! A bright periwinkle blue jelly with iridescent blue, silver, blue, orange and yellow hexes, triangles and stars that just reminds me of all kinds of magic! This is three thin coats again :)
