I try to do the complete opposite of what I did the day before with my make-up for work. If I have color one day then I keep it to a minimum the next. It's great having so much product to play with - means I never get bored! Today I decided to take inspiration from....well...nothing....I wanted to not have yellow eyes and wanted to try some of the less popular colors in my kit. I also wanted to use some loose pigment today to try out a new primer too. I am happy to report it worked - but tune in later on as I possibly might feel differently then!
So here is the list :
EYES : I used a primer today as I said above - I used MAC prep and Prime eyelid primer in light and then I started with NARS 'Kiliamjaro' at the corner of the eyes. I blended Barry M No. 23 at the edges and then decided to pop it over the NARS too. Which meant that it was lighter at the corner. I used MAC pigment in 'Blackened Red' at the edges mixed with the NO.23. This is a tricky one because not only are my eyes super sensitive to glittery products but the pigment falls off. This is where a good primer comes in handy!!!! So I used MAC brush no.217 to blend. I then got bored of it and added MAC 'Silver Ring' eyeshadow over the NARS to jazz it up a bit!
EYELINER : I used a liquid liner in black from Rimmel on the top and then I mixed three different shadows to get the liner underneath. I used the silver ring shadow on the corners, then NARS in 'Night Flight' on the edges and I popped a bit of MAC 'Blue Candy' in the middle just to make it interesting!!!!
EYEBROWS : Rimmel eyebrow pencil in 002 Hazel and gave myself a thicker brow then normal.
LIPS : MAC in 'Saint Germain' although I am going to change this for 'Snob' later in work!
I am also using my topshop jewelry as well!!! Both the earring and the necklace are from there! The necklace goes down to my stomach!!!!! So lets see how long I last before I take it off!!!! I reckon about half an hour!
Oh and the base is entirely from Rimmel as well - Match Perfection concealer and 25 hour foundation. I would normally use studio fix but I prefer something lighter for work.
