Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Hot Emily (Price : £24.00/INR 2000 approximately):
This lipstick is a part of the “Hot Lips” collection from Charlotte Tilbury and probably one of my favourite summer shades ever. I have had this lipstick since last year. I don’t even know what took me so long to review this one.
It’s a gorgeous orange-y coral lip color. It’s the perfect mix of shade that’s not too bright and not too pale. It feels very hydrating and light on lips. The texture is a bit balmy that makes me press my lips more than I should. The lipstick is quite pigmented and one swipe gives a full-blown color. It comes packed in this gorgeous rose gold packaging.
The lipstick has a lovely vanilla fragrance. It does not smudge or settle into fine lines. Also, the bit of glossiness in the lipstick makes your lips look a bit fuller. It’s not the most long-lasting lipstick. After around 4 hours, the lipstick is pretty much faded and if you have a full meal, you would definitely need to reapply this. The only con I’d list is that it transfers quite a bit, but it is quite a hydrating lipstick, so you can’t prevent it. This shade is very close to Lotus Lipstick in Carnation and MAC Impassioned.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Pillowtalk Review:
They launched this lipstick during Valentine’s Day Time as a limited edition shade but I think it became so popular that they have restocked it. And considering how popular their “Pillow Talk lip liner” is, this could easily become a part of their ongoing collection. This lipstick is a part of “Matte Revolution” shade range.
It is a pinky beige lip color and I am not surprised that it is so popular because it is that bang on perfect n*de for those with light skin tones. On me, it is just not the right color. It looks a weird beige on me and washes me out. I got on to the whole hype and if there is one lipstick I regret purchasing from Charlotte, it is this one!
I can still make it work by mixing and matching or by doing a makeup look around this lip color, but it’s definitely not my “go-to” lipstick. You know how lipstick is such a personal thing and you only love a lipstick when the shade is perfect for you. This lipstick never makes me feel pretty. I adore the texture of Matte Revolution lipsticks.
They are one of the lightest and most comfortable formulas that is out there in terms of matte lipsticks. The lipstick does not transfer much, does not smudge or bleed either. The staying power is around 4 hours, which is very average. Still if you are looking for a gorgeous lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury, I suggest that you do try one from their Matte revolution one. This lipstick definitely is not my favourite purchase. I’d say only buy it if you have light to very light skin tone. It would be your perfect MLBB shade.
